Digital Piano Reviews – The P-Series

Now let’s get on with this model line by Yamaha. The P Series is the compact and stylish line of digital pianos. According to Yamaha, the “P Series gives you the dynamic, high-quality sound and natural piano touch response they expect from Yamaha – manufactures of world class acoustic pianos for more than a century. These Yamaha hallmarks, along with a high-quality built-in stereo speaker system are packed into a slim.”

The P Series by Yamaha is great for those demanding a good portable instrument for practice and playing at home or school. With the P line of models, you don’t get all the fancy features, styles and effects – just realistic traditional piano sounds with excellent touch. For weighted keys, and grand piano-like sounds, P Series will satisfy.

This line of pianos has keys that will even suit more experienced players. Some models, such as the P-95 have Graded Hammer Standard action keys. Other models get better action, with Graded Hammer Effect keys.

Although they lack many fancy features and effects, the digital technology is still there. You still get high-quality built-in speakers, as well as headphone outputs. This is great since you can connect your instrument to amplifiers, external speakers, etc.

Conclusion

If you need something with the brilliant touch and sound of a traditional piano. Or if you don’t need extra features, and effects that are found on the other series, then Yamaha’s P Series should be considered.
